Tom Forgione’s interest in sports and event management began the moment he first stepped into Madison Square Garden for a New York Rangers game at age eight.  This career-developing memory is commemorated by that first ticket stub which still sits atop a shelf in his home office.  From that single experience, Tom’s fascination with conducting building changeovers, designing plans for multi-purpose venues, and event presentation began.

A graduate of Syracuse University in Central New York, Tom studied architecture and business management with a focus in sports marketing.  As an SU student, Tom worked as a production manager in the Carrier Dome and completed an internship in the Athletic Department.  After graduation, Tom worked at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York as an Event Manager serving as the venue contact for athletic events including the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, Theatrical Productions, Concerts, and Trade Show Expositions.

After six years of working in Connecticut, Tom was given the opportunity to become the Vice President of Event Production for Radio City Music Hall located in New York City, also managed by the Madison Square Garden Company.  As the head of the production department, Tom worked on a variety of events including Televised Award Shows, Concerts, the New York Spectacular and the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes.  In his current position, Tom serves as the Assistant General Manager at Radio City, and oversees all aspects of the daily operation of this legendary and landmarked Venue.
