Patrick Horne

Patrick Horne is a former professional player in the North American Soccer League with the Memphis Rogues and in the American Soccer League with the New Jersey Americans. He is a coach with over 20 years of experience in the college game, coaching both genders. Horne started the first ever women’s soccer program at Brooklyn College, in 2012, and his relentless work during the team’s three years yielded two CUNY Championships and as many appearances in the NCAA tournament, an award as 2013 CUNY Coach of the Year, and his leadership led to numerous All-CUNY selections among his student-athletes.

 

Horne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, where he was a member of the SIUE Cougars team and helped the team to a runner-up finish in the 1975 NCAA Division I Tournament. He also has a Master of Science degree in Education from Alfred University and is a New York State certified English teacher. Horne resides in Baldwin, NY, is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) B License.
